Ingredients
-
1/4 C Olivia's Chipotle Olive Oil
-
1/4 C Olivia's Espresso Balsamic Vinegar
-
2 Tbsp. Lime juice
-
2 Tbsp Red onion, finely chopped/minced
-
1 Tbsp. Garlic minced
-
1 Tbsp. Cocoa powder
-
2 Tsp. Sea salt
-
1 Tsp. Black Pepper, freshly ground
Directions
Mix all ingredients until well combined.
Use a resealable bag or container, add 2lb. of your favorite meat, poultry or vegetables. Marinade in the fridge for 1 to 2 hours or up to over night for meat.
Recipe Note
Marinade can be kept for up to a week in the fridge.
Variation change ups:
Use Olivia's Hot Harissa Oil or Olivia's Baklouti Oil instead of the Chipotle.
For a little fruitier, add Olivia's Pomegranate Balsamic, or Olivia's Black Cherry Balsamic Vinegar or for more depth add a splash of Olivia's Dark Chocolate Balsamic Oil
This marinade can also be used for adding flavor to burgers, as you brown the meat, or in a chili or ragout. Or lightly brush on salmon then grill, extremely versatile!
